Guide to logging in to the Members Area and Forum.
( Use of the Members Area or Forum implies agreement with the terms as set out below )
To log into the Members Area, you must use your usual name,
and membership number.
THIS FORUM IS
TOTALLY NEW...
You will have to reregister to get on.
Usual Name
Your usual name is is the name
you use, minus any middle names or initials.
If your name is hyphenated, ie: James Jones-Jones, put the hyphen in as normal.
If your name is Cedrick Edwards, this is the name you type into the user name box, making sure that you use capital letters where appropriate.
Membership number
When typing in your membership
number, put in the correct number of zeros in front of your number
to make your number up to 4 digits.
Example
If your number is 5056, no
extra zeros are needed.
If your number is 65, then put two
zeros in front of it, ie: type in 0065.
If
your number is 165, then put one zero in
front of it, ie: type in 0165.
Finally
Type the letters "dll" in front of
your numbers : ie "dll1234"
To log into the Members Forum, you must use your usual name,
and
make up a strong password.
Usual Name
Your usual name is is the name
you use, minus any middle names or initials.
For clarity, NO NICKNAMES or ALIASES
are allowed. Anyone found using a nickname or alias will be warned,
then if the misuse persists, they will be banned from the Forum.
There
will be no exceptions.
Making up a strong password
A strong password
will help keep your Forum secure.
Responsibility for security
lies not only on the web Forum, but also with you as an individual.
A strong password consists of between 10 to 14 letters and numbers,
which must not form obvious names or places.
The longer the
password, the stronger the security.
