Back on popular demand, this tutorial is a unique opportunity to gain insight into the cytopathology component of the FRCPath final exam. Experienced examiners will offer guidance on the curriculum, the approach to written reports, the marking scheme and relevant aspects of the cervical screening programme. There will also be gynae (conventional, TP and SP) and non-gynae workshops with a range of specimen types.
The number of delegates is limited to 40, so please book early.

LONDON TUTORIAL

Theme: Quality Assurance in Cytology
Venue: Henriette Raphael Function Room, Guy’s Hospital
Date: Friday 27 March 09.      Host: Dr Ashish Chandra

The tutorial will cover aspects of quality assurance in gynae and non-gynae cytology including information about running regional EQA schemes and also guidance on quality assurance in FNA clinics. The afternoon session will include a gynae and a non-gynae workshop (head & neck cytology).
The tutorial is suitable for BMSs and pathologists of all grades.
